Deep Purple - Fireball

Deep Purple es una banda de rock formada en Hertfordshire, Inglaterra, en 1968, que está considerada como una de las pioneras del heavy metal y del hard rock, aunque también incorporó elementos del pop y del rock progresivo. A lo largo de su carrera han vendido más de 100 millones de discos en todo el mundo, y fueron reconocidos como la banda más ruidosa del mundo por el libro Guinness de los récords en los años 70.

Fireball es el quinto álbum de la banda inglesa, publicado en 1971. Alcanzó el primer puesto de la lista de éxitos británica, siendo el primer disco de los tres que situaría la banda en esta posición.

Fireball es la canción de apertura del álbum del mismo nombre y la canción comienza con un sonido sibilante (que es una grabación de aire acondicionado del estudio que con el tiempo se va desvaneciendo) para dar cominezo a la canción.

El disco contiene los singles "Strange Kind of Woman" y "Fireball" que alcanzaron en la lista de singles británica la posición 8 y 15 respectivamente y se convirtieron en uno de los mayores éxitos del grupo.
