La semana pasada, el dia 7 de junio se cumplieron 50 años desde que los Rolling Stones lanzaron su primer sencillo. "Come On" es una canción que fue escrita originalmente por Chuck Berry y lanzada en 1961. Los Rolling Stones decidieron grabar una versión de este tema de Berry el 10 de Mayo de 1963 y fue producida por Andrew Loog Oldham. De esta forma, el 7 de Junio de 1963 fue lanzado en UK el primer single de los Stones con el tema "I Want To Be Loved" como lado B, llegando al Nº 21 en los charts británicos.
Ese tema, de 1 minuto y 48 segundos de duración, se grabó en los Olympic Sound Studios, en el barrio de Barnes, al suroeste de Londres, el 10 de mayo de ese año, una día después de que los Stones ultimaran su contrato discográfico con Decca Records.

ResponderEliminarHola Sergio, me apunto a lo de declarar dia festivo, lo que pasa es que esto seria el cominezo de muchos aniversarios ya que los Rolling en su larga trayectoria nos dejado muchos momentos memorables.
