The Moody Blues - The Story In Your Eyes

The Moody Blues es un quinteto de músicos británicos que se formó en Birmingham en 1964. Su primera voz fue Denny Laine, que más adelante sería compañero de Paul McCartney en Wings. También participaban en el grupo Graeme Edge (batería), Ray Thomas (flauta y voz), Clint Warwick (bajo, voz) y Mike Pinder (teclados).

"The Story in Your Eyes" es un éxito de 1971. Escrita por el guitarrista de la banda de Justin Hayward , fue publicada por primera vez como un single con "My Song" en el lado B, y luego en el disco de 1971 "Every Good Boy Deserves Favour shortly after" que fue su sexto album.
En el álbum, "The Story in Your Eyes" es la segunda canción, después de "Processión". Este tema, fue el unico que fue escrito por los cinco miembros de la banda. La canción estaba destinada a describir la historia de la música desde el principio de los tiempos, y las tres únicas palabras en toda la pieza son "desolación", "creación", y "comunicación".
